How to remove the Lock icon over a Folder in Windows 7
-- Right click the folder and select Properties.
-- Go to Security tab and click Edit.
-- Under Permissions for Shared Folder window, click on the Add button.
-- Type in “Authenticated Users” in the field and click Ok.
-- Click Ok to close all the remaining windows.
-- The Lock icon is removed now.
